Job summary

TTW is seeking a Senior Engineer (Construction Engineering) to join our Sydney team. You will contribute to a diverse portfolio across public and private sectors, delivering innovative civil engineering solutions and growing your technical expertise.

You will manage projects, liaise with clients and drafters, price tenders, prepare documentation, and drive profitability while ensuring WHS and QA compliance across assignments.

• Member of Engineers Australia
• Thorough understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise incoming work appropriately
• Problem solving/analytical skills

• Demonstrated time management skills
• Willingness and ability to advance own career including remaining up to date with advancements in discipline related engineering methodologies

Responsibilities

• Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems
• Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity
• Preparation of client reports
• Monitor projects for fee variations
• Liaise with engineers and drafters to enable preparation of documentation
• Manage design team of engineers and drafters including allocation of resources and checking of work for small projects (where required)
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Contribute to the overall management and profitability of projects
• Ability to interpret and communicate information of a more complex nature
• Develop the ability to scheme up small to medium sized projects
• Assume responsibility for the management of small, medium and some large-scale projects including duties such as pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets
• Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies– e.g. WHS practices and Quality Assurance.
