Job summary

Enerven Energy Infrastructure Pty is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead high-value tenders across energy, utilities and telecommunications. You will own the bid strategy, manage the bid team, and coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver compelling submissions.

The role balances ~70% bid process leadership and ~30% estimating, requiring seven+ years in complex tendering, strong commercial judgement, and proficiency with cost modelling and bid databases.

Qualifications

• Experience with estimating and cost modelling to assess bid viability.
• Leadership and stakeholder management to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to craft clear, compliant tender submissions under deadlines.
• Strong project management and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with internal bid databases and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present bid strategy plans to the bid team and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and review detailed estimates of direct and indirect costs and assess subcontractor submissions.
• Develop concepts with the design team and prepare schedules and cash flows.
• Manage client and supplier relationships during and after bids and identify opportunities.
• Identify risks and obtain internal sign-off on tender costs and schedules.
• Present tender submissions and coordinate handovers to project teams.
• Maintain the bid database and reporting, seek feedback to improve win rate.
