Job summary

Avina in Elizabeth Vale is seeking an experienced Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner to lead a multidisciplinary team and continue delivering high-quality Positive Behaviour Support across clinic, home, school and community settings.

You will mentor and supervise less experienced practitioners, manage Complex Behaviour Support Plans, and contribute to case discussions while maintaining your own clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Commission suitability at Proficient level or above.
• Significant experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS.
• Experience managing complex presentations and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
• Mentoring or supervising developing practitioners is highly regarded.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication and stakeholder engagement.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support across clinic and community settings.
• Manage a varied and complex caseload, including Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans.
• Provide mentoring and clinical supervision to developing practitioners.
• Contribute to case discussions and Communities of Practice.
