Job summary

Mitti is building the next generation of its customer identity platform, handling sign-up, login, verification and access control at scale for organisations. You will focus on authentication and session management, with SSO, multi-tenant logins and a unified login experience across web and mobile.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will modernise legacy systems into microservices with zero downtime and undertake distributed architecture challenges with precision and care.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on expertise in identity and access concepts: authentication, session management, SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Strong backend engineering track record; Golang is highly valued, but a solid backend generalist is welcome.
• Experience designing safe, incremental migrations in live, high-traffic systems with dual writes and staged rollouts.
• Comfortable reasoning about permission and access systems across distributed, multi-tenant architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own authentication and session management domain, including SSO and multi-org login configurations for web and mobile.
• Lead safe, incremental migrations of identity and user data off legacy infra with backfills and staged cutovers.
• Design and evolve provisioning and authentication systems (SCIM, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC) for distributed multi-tenant load.
• Apply identity security best practices: MFA, session management, audit logging, secure token handling.
• Collaborate in a small pod, pairing with senior engineers to deliver identity features.
