Job summary

South Nowra Auto Group is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our busy, multi-franchise service department in Nowra, NSW. You will work alongside the existing Service Manager to lead daily operations, manage a team of Service Advisors and drive outstanding customer service and performance.

You will report to the Dealer Principal, bringing strong automotive service knowledge, leadership and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

Experience in automotive service management or equivalent leadership role.
Strong knowledge of dealership service operations and CSI targets.
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team.
Excellent customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to explain vehicle repairs, timeframes and solutions to customers.
Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience using dealership systems and focus on performance and targets.

Responsibilities

Lead and drive the daily operations of a high-volume, multi-franchise service department.
Coach and develop Service Advisors; foster a high-performing team culture.
Oversee bookings, workflow, job allocation and customer enquiries.”
Build strong relationships with customers and workshop teams; link front-of-house to workshop operations.
Work with Service Foremen to manage workflow, repair times and pending work.
Drive exceptional customer service, CSI and department performance; lead by example.
Monitor targets; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes.
Address customer concerns with professional, effective solutions.
