Job summary
Airswift is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join a hands-on automation team in Brisbane. You will design, develop, implement and commission PLC, SCADA and HMI control systems for mining and heavy industry projects, with emphasis on robust technical documentation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Control Systems Engineering and demonstrated experience in concept to commissioning lifecycle, FAT/SAT and site
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Control Systems Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong automation experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Experience leading or supporting FAT, SAT and site commissioning activities.
- Experience coordinating with electrical, instrumentation, process, mechanical and project engineering disciplines.
- Design, development and implementation of PLC, SCADA and HMI control systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement PLC, SCADA and HMI control systems.
- Develop control philosophies, functional descriptions and I/O lists.
- Program, configure and test PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
- Support troubleshooting across control, instrumentation and networks.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary project teams through commissioning.
