Job summary

SysControl Pty Limited seeks a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, service, and maintain control and automation systems for mining and industrial applications.

The ideal candidate has substantial PLC and SCADA experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation. The role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities to lead major projects within Australia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience as a Control Systems engineer in resources or heavy industry.
• Extensive Allen-Bradley PLC and Plant SCADA (Citect SCADA) experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering; travel to sites.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing maintenance of PLCs, SCADA, and OT equipment.
• Provide control systems support for breakdowns and critical issues.
• Design, develop, and commission projects from start to finish.
• Produce scopes of work, functional specs, and test documentation.
• Deliver project management and service to major customers in resources/industrial sectors.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and grow customer relationships.
