Job summary

Waters Corporation invites applications for an Application Chemist to support growth across Australia and New Zealand. The role combines strong scientific expertise with commercial acumen to tailor Waters solutions for analytical challenges in LC and MS applications.

The successful candidate will train customers, perform analyses and demonstrations, and collaborate with sales teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences across multiple application areas including Food & Environment,

Qualifications

Education: Masters or PhD in chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
Experience: 3+ years with UPLC, mass spectrometry and analytical instruments.
Strong communication and presentation skills; highly organized and proactive.

Responsibilities

Perform system and application training as well as technical support to customers.
Conduct instrument demonstrations and provide expert advice during the sales process.
Ensure equipment and demonstrations meet high customer experience standards.
Collaborate with Business partners and Field Sales operations in a fast-paced environment.
Diagnose customer requirements and design analyses showcasing Waters capabilities.
Lead internal Waters Solutions Training for Field Sales Operations.
