Intertek Envirolab is currently accepting applications for the role of Chemist in our LC section. This role involves conducting chemical analysis using advanced laboratory techniques and instrumentation, with responsibilities in sample preparation, instrumental analysis, data processing, and quality control.

You will contribute to environmental and industrial monitoring programs, ensuring testing meets accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (Chemistry major) required.
• Minimum 2 years laboratory experience, preferably in chemical analysis.
• At least 1 year operating instruments and wet chemistry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sample Preparation & Analysis – Perform chemical analysis.
• Data Processing & LIMS Entry – Accurately interpret and report analytical results.
• Quality Control & Compliance – Ensure testing meets accreditation standards.
• Instrument Calibration & Maintenance – Calibrate and troubleshoot instruments such as LC-MS/MS.
• Laboratory Safety & Housekeeping – Maintain a safe, clean workspace.
• Technical Documentation & Reporting – Document analyses precisely and promptly.
