Job summary

EVT Head Office in Sydney is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to own the end-to-end payroll for Australia, New Zealand weekly employees and corporate entities. You will ensure accurate, on-time processing and compliance with relevant legislation, while mentoring team members and partnering with HRIS, Recruitment and Finance.

Demonstrated expertise in Dayforce, strong data integrity, and audit readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of end-to-end Australian payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Work, PAYG, STP and superannuation.
• Advanced Dayforce experience.
• Proficient Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with HRIS or recruitment systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Australia, New Zealand and corporate payroll processes.
• Perform payroll reviews and sign-off, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Apply NZ Holidays Act, KiwiSaver, PAYE and entitlements to pay outcomes.
• Partner with Finance to allocate payroll costs to the general ledger.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate records.
• Mentor Payroll Officers and drive process improvements.
• Maintain data integrity and cybersecurity in payroll operations.
