Job summary

Emergence Quantum is seeking an analog ASIC engineer to design, simulate and layout analog and mixed-signal blocks for quantum and AI systems. You will optimize performance, power and noise across room-temperature and cryogenic conditions while collaborating with system architects and device teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in analog and mixed-signal ASIC design (2+ years).
• Proficiency in EDA tools for analog circuit design, simulation and layout (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, verify, and layout analog and mixed-signal circuits for applications in quantum computing.
• Develop and optimize low-temperature analog circuits, such as amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, in CMOS, SiGe, MMIC, superconducting, and any outside-the-box circuits for solving control and readout challenges for quantum.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Engage in all stages of testing and characterization of ASICs and hardware at cryogenic temperatures, including troubleshooting of design and performance issues.
• Document design processes, test results, and provide technical reports.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in technologies for quantum.
