PALO IT Australia seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver AI-powered products for enterprise clients, guiding projects from discovery to production and adoption.

The role is based in Sydney with a hybrid model: three days per week in the office or on client sites, and the balance flexible. You will apply Gen-e2 methodology and AI tools across engagements to create measurable value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software development experience, ideally including cross-functional or client-facing work.
• Solid full-stack, generalist foundations and ability to own defined workstreams.
• Experience building with LLMs or generative models.
• Open to learning new stacks across client environments, languages, frameworks and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver defined workstreams within engagements from prototype through production.
• Participate in discovery and scoping sessions to frame problems.
• Build full-stack, AI-powered systems delivering measurable client value.
• Identify risks and dependencies early and raise blockers.
• Communicate thinking clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
