Job summary

Accenture in Sydney seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead enterprise AI deployments, from initial discovery with a CTO to production. You will design and ship AI systems using Claude, GPT, Gemini, and other tools, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability at scale.

You will mentor engineers, shape internal practices, and drive client roadmaps, balancing deep technical work with boardroom-level stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• 3+ years delivering AI/ML or LLM-based solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with enterprise clients from discovery through production.
• Run workshops to identify high-value AI use cases and translate them into engineering plans.
• Architect and ship enterprise-grade AI systems using best available tooling.
• Define evaluation frameworks for model quality, safety, and business impact.
• Mentor engineers and lead incident resolution and complex troubleshooting.
