Insight in Perth is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer Principal to embed with client teams and deliver end-to-end AI and data solutions, from discovery through deployment and handover. You will translate business problems into structured technical work, own outcomes, and collaborate with client engineers while contributing to a growing Forward Deployed Engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Shipped real software end-to-end including discovery to handover.
• Experience in consulting, professional services or embedded engineering.
• Strong across Python, .NET/C#, or TypeScript; cloud data platforms and ML/LLM tooling.

Responsibilities

• Discover & Frame: run discovery workshops, translate problems into architectural scope.
• Build & Deploy: deliver production-grade data solutions across full stack and integrate with client infra.
• Enable & Embed: coach client engineers and document capabilities for long-term use.
• Shape Insight's Future: document patterns, mentor peers, contribute to accelerators.
