Job summary

PALO IT is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer in Australia to deliver AI-powered products and solutions for enterprise clients. You will own the journey from discovery through pilot, production, and adoption in a consulting environment.

You will operate across product, architecture, coding, and infrastructure, leveraging AI coding tools daily to generate requirements and architecture diagrams. This is a client-facing, hands-on engineering role with Gen-e2 methodology at its core.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including cross-functional or client-facing work.
Proven ability to independently deliver a defined workstream in a fast-moving or ambiguous environment.
Strong software engineering expertise in .NET and modernising enterprise applications.
Experience building with LLMs or generative models.
Familiarity with AI-native development, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Independently deliver defined workstreams within client engagements, from discovery to production.
Contribute to discovery and scoping sessions with strong questions and problem framing.
Build full-stack, AI-powered systems delivering measurable client value.
Identify risks early and raise blockers before they impact delivery.
Engage directly with client teams, stakeholders, and executives.
