Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Advisor, Learning Design for a temporary up to 12 months role based in Petersham, NSW. You'll lead end-to-end learning projects, align solutions with business needs, and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires 5+ years in learning design, strong stakeholder and project-management skills, and knowledge of adult learning principles and 2025 Standards for RTOs.

In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering enterprise learning and capability solutions across Transport for NSW, this role will see you partner with business stakeholders to ensure learning solutions are aligned with business needs, enterprise learningstandardsand contemporary learning design practice.

You will influence, advise and lead learning initiatives in a dynamic and evolving environment, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, managing complex requirements and feedback, and helping establish best-practice processes and learning strategies.

The team hub for this role will be located in Petersham and there will be the expectation that the successful candidate will be able to commit to our 50% workplace presence requirements.

You are an experienced Learning Design professional with 5+ years' experience leading end-to-end learning projects, from analysis and solution design through to development, implementation and evaluation. You have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and can create practical, authentic and engaging learning experiences that deliver measurable outcomes .

You bring proven stakeholder management, project management and communication skills, with experience conducting training needs analysis, developing learning programs and training artefacts, and delivering results in complex projects with various stakeholders. You are confident using learning technologies and corporate systems, have knowledge of the 2025 Standards for RTOs, and ideally have previous people leadership experience.

You hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) and relevant tertiary qualifications in Adult Learning, Education, Learning Design or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
