Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Learning Tech & Facilities Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the Petersham Training Centre. This on-site role focuses on facilities leadership, safety, maintenance, and coordinating contractors to ensure safe, high-quality learning delivery.

You will manage safety risk, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate learning technology infrastructure while keeping stakeholders informed and minimising disruption to staff, learners and visitors.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in facilities, safety or building operations within a busy operational environment.
• Coordinate maintenance, contractors, issue tracking, technology operations and safe workarounds through to resolution.
• Strong safety, risk management and problem-solving skills, including ability to manage complex maintenance and safety issues efficiently.
• Sound leadership and people management skills, with the ability to support, coach and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on timely issue resolution and proactive engagement.
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant and equivalent professional experience.

In this role, you'll:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Transport Training Centre in Petersham, ensuring facilities are safe, well-maintained and ready to support quality learning delivery. You’ll coordinate safety, maintenance, contractors and issue resolution, while keeping stakeholders informed and minimising disruption to staff, learners and visitors. While the role includes oversight of learning technology infrastructure, the primary focus is on facilities leadership, operational coordination, safety risk management and continuous improvement across the Petersham Training Centre.
