Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Active Transport Integration Officer in Sydney to enable walking and cycling priorities across planning, policy, design and infrastructure delivery. You’ll provide strategic input and form strong cross-government partnerships to embed active transport into decision-making.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Economics, Geography, Environment, Urban Planning, Urban Design, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in active transport planning, design or delivery is essential.
• Ability to engage with planning tools, standards or guidance across projects.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of walking and cycling priorities into transport projects.
• Provide strategic advice and design inputs to enable active transport outcomes.
• Contribute to policy integration and build strong partnerships across government, councils and industry.
• Lead integrated active transport outcomes in a multi-stakeholder environment.
