• Develop and deliver the plans, evidence and programs that make walking, cycling and e-micromobility a core part of an integrated transport network across NSW.
• You will play a key role in a newly formed team, helping define what our walking and cycling networks need to achieve and what success looks like.
• You’ll make sure active transport is embedded within the broader transport network, supports end-to-end journeys, connects with other modes, and delivers on community and government priorities.
• You’ll contribute to integrated network planning and stakeholder alignment in a complex environment, applying network modelling, data analysis and strategic planning to deliver an integrated network that achieves on agreed network outcomes for walking and cycling.

About You

• You are an experienced transport planning professional who brings:
• Experience in transport planning, infrastructure, consulting or the public sector, with the ability to contribute to products that lift capability across NSW's transport planning system.
• Solid foundation in transport planning principles, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications in planning, engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality transport planning outputs using structured, evidence-based approaches that support integrated transport outcomes.
• Confident working with evidence to produce clear, practical and well-reasoned transport planning advice, and comfortable using project management approaches, transport planning tools and data-driven methods.
• Effective in multidisciplinary environments, engaging confidently with subject matter experts and external partners.
• Clear and collaborative communicator who can translate complex technical analysis into practical insights for a range of audiences, including senior leaders.
• Strong technical transport planning capability, combining analytical rigour with the ability to interpret, develop and refine transport planning guidance, frameworks and methodologies.
