Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Management & Development to lead strategic and operational teams responsible for Sydney's arterial and active transport networks. The role focuses on delivering safe, reliable movement and effective network performance.

You will influence planning, governance, and cross‑government collaboration, developing business cases and coordinating multi‑stakeholder outcomes. A senior, systems thinker with commercial acumen is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership of high‑performing, multidisciplinary teams.
• Expertise across road safety, traffic management, active transport and solution development.
• Proven experience developing business cases and complex project documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with senior and executive stakeholders to resolve complex issues and drive aligned outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior strategic and operational leadership for teams responsible for managing and developing Sydney's arterial and active transport networks.
• Set clear direction on network performance, road safety, multi-modal integration and early-stage project development.
• Represent Transport in planning, policy and governance forums, partnering across government, industry and communities to translate long-term planning intent into coordinated outcomes.
• Lead complex, multi-modal networks and programs in a highly regulated, stakeholder-rich environment.
