Job summary

Transport for NSW is hiring a Program Manager Active Transport in Sydney, NSW. You will lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs and grants, shaping priorities, securing funding and governance approvals, and delivering community benefits across NSW.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team delivering critical Active Transport programs that connect communities, promote sustainable travel choices and improve outcomes for people across NSW.
• Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of complex programs and grants initiatives, from shaping strategic priorities and business cases through to securing funding, governance approvals and successful implementation.
• Drive investment outcomes, build strong partnerships and deliver community benefits in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment involving local councils, government agencies and delivery partners.
• Apply program management, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning expertise across government, infrastructure, transport or related sectors to deliver complex programs.
• Be a collaborative and influential leader, skilled at building trusted relationships, securing stakeholder buy-in and managing multiple interdependent initiatives.
• Position yourself to succeed by leveraging experience in program delivery, business case development, grants management and cross-government collaboration to grow Active Transport across NSW.
