Qualifications

• Proven experience in general insurance broking.
• Strong technical knowledge of general insurance products and markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial general insurance clients, acting as the primary day‑to‑day contact and trusted adviser.
• Provide end‑to‑end broking services, including risk assessment, policy placement, renewals, endorsements, alterations and claims coordination.
• Prepare and present tailored insurance programs, proposals and recommendations that align with clients’ risk profiles and commercial objectives.
• Negotiate terms, coverage and pricing with insurers and underwriting agencies to secure competitive and appropriate outcomes for clients.
• Proactively develop and strengthen long‑term client relationships through regular reviews, portfolio analysis and exceptional service standards.
• Monitor market trends, products and regulatory changes to provide informed, up‑to‑date advice and identify opportunities for portfolio improvement.
• Collaborate with internal broking, claims and support teams to ensure efficient, accurate and timely delivery of services to clients.
• Contribute to the broader business by sharing expertise, mentoring less experienced staff where appropriate, and supporting strategic growth and improvement initiatives.
