Job summary

This role focuses on reducing overrepresentation and may involve Koori Court advisory responsibilities.

• Ability to communicate sensitively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal Community.
• Knowledge of the Victorian Aboriginal Community and related issues.
• Experience with best practice case management frameworks.
• Ability to apply theoretical concepts to reduce risk and maximise outcomes.
• Openness to continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of high-risk individuals with culturally informed case management to address offending behaviours.
• Develop and implement culturally informed intervention plans for Aboriginal persons to support engagement and reduce recidivism.
• Identify factors related to offending behaviour and provide risk assessment advice to senior management and community teams.
• Develop relationships with Aboriginal organisations and other organisations that support case management.
