Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as an Electronic Security Technician or in a similar technical position.
• Strong electronic fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience installing, configuring, testing and troubleshooting security equipment.
• Good understanding of IP networking and network-connected devices.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Victorian Security Licence.
• Experience with Tecom, Inner Range, Bosch, CCTV and related security systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and commission electronic security systems.
• Service and maintain access control, CCTV, alarm and integrated security systems from small offices to multi-story towers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential system issues before failure.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and system documentation.
• Complete upgrades, modifications and extensions to existing systems.
• Complete accurate service reports, maintenance records and commissioning documentation.
