Job summary

• Demonstrated experience as an Electronic Security Technician or in a similar technical position.
• Strong electronic fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience installing, configuring, testing and troubleshooting security equipment.
• Good understanding of IP networking and network-connected devices.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Victorian Security Licence.
• Experience with Tecom, Inner Range, Bosch, CCTV and related security systems.

The role involves installing, configuring, testing and commissioning electronic security systems, and servicing and maintaining access control, CCTV, alarm and integrated security systems from small office systems to multi-story commercial and residential towers.

Key responsibilities

Install, configure, test and commission electronic security systems.

Service and maintain access control, CCTV, alarm and integrated security systems from small office systems to multi-story commercial and residential towers.

Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential system issues before failure.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and system documentation.

About you
