Job summary

Securecorp Electronics in Australia is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Installation Technician to join our Electronics Team on a permanent full-time basis.

You will install and maintain access control, intruder alarms, and CCTV across client sites, working with Project Managers to deliver high-quality installations and timely commissioning.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, problem solving, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
• Strong knowledge of circuitry, cabling, and system integration.
• Experience with access control, alarms, and CCTV systems.
• Ability to work independently on-site and manage jobs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and commission electronic security systems.
• Assess sites and assist with system design and equipment placement.
• Perform repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Deliver small to medium installation projects and ensure commissioning to a high standard.
• Provide technical support and client training.
• Stay up to date with industry standards and emerging technologies.
• Document installations, servicing, and maintenance.
