Job summary

G4S Australia and New Zealand is seeking a highly professional Security Supervisor to lead daily on-site security operations for a high-profile tech client. You will oversee building access, automated badging, and frontline team leadership in a 3-person unit.

You will coordinate with facility teams and client stakeholders to maintain a safe environment, monitor CCTV and alarms, and document incidents with accuracy. Monday–Friday day shift, base rate AU$32.82/hour plus weekly allowances.

Qualifications

  • Current NSW Security License is required.
  • Proven supervisory or senior security experience in corporate/office environments.
  • Strong proficiency with access control, CCTV and electronic security monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate access requirements for occupied buildings and suites via automated systems.
  • Observe and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Monitor alarms and video surveillance, respond decisively to incidents.
  • Respond to requests from personnel, visitors and contractors on security matters.
  • Manage security card queries and liaise to resolve access issues.
  • Oversee incident detection, response and reporting with timely documentation.

About this role

We are currently seeking a highly professional, customer-focused Security Supervisor to lead daily on-site security operations for our high-profile technology client.

Initially as part of a 3 man team, in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing building access requirements, managing automated badging systems, and leading the frontline team in maintaining a safe, secure environment. You will act as the key operational link between on-site security personnel, facility teams, and client stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating access requirements for occupied buildings and office suites through the effective administration and daily usage of automated access control and badging systems.
  • Observing and patrolling designated areas to ensure complete physical security and safety of the premises.
  • Monitoring electronic security alarms and video surveillance systems, taking decisive action to respond to indicators of suspicious behavior.
  • Responding promptly to all requests and calls for assistance from Anthropic personnel, visitors, and contractors on security and safety-related matters.
  • Managing security card queries, including resolving issues with lost or faulty cards and liaising with internal stakeholders to rectify technical access problems.
  • Overseeing incident detection, response, and reporting, ensuring detailed and accurate documentation is completed in a timely manner.
What we're looking for
  • Current NSW Security License
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or senior security role, ideally within corporate, tech, or high-end office environments.
  • Strong technical proficiency in access control administration, badging systems, CCTV, and electronic security monitoring.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with corporate leaders and client management.
  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and presentation to commit to the Monday to Friday day schedule
  • Strong problem-solving and incident command skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
