Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead our team at one of Sydney's busiest retail centres in Eastgardens, NSW. The role focuses on directing a team, maintaining safety, and building strong client relationships to ensure efficient daily operations.

You will manage site activities, monitor control room and CCTV, and coordinate incident responses while delivering excellent customer service and safety standards. NSW licence and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security Licence (essential).
• First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Experience as Security Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Security Officer.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 16 Security Officers.
• Manage daily security operations and site coverage.
• Monitor CCTV, control room, and alarm systems.
• Build and maintain strong client and centre management relationships.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate emergency responses.
• Prepare reports and ensure SOP compliance.
• Conduct site patrols and identify risks.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and coaching of new staff.
• Promote a positive safety culture and high standard of customer service.

About the Role

Millennium is looking for an experienced Security Supervisor to lead our team at one of Sydney's busiest retail shopping centres in Eastgardens, NSW.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Security Supervisor or a strong Senior Security Officer looking to take the next step into leadership. You'll play a key role in leading a team, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently every day.

As the Security Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for customers, retailers, and staff.

Roster

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 8:30am – 6:00pm

Thursday: 12:00pm – 9:00pm

Minimum annual earnings of $98K + allowances + Discretionary performance bonus

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of 16 Security Officers.


• Managing daily security operations and ensuring smooth site coverage.


• Monitoring the Control Room, CCTV and alarm systems.


• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client and centre management.


• Responding to incidents and coordinating emergency responses.


• Managing reports, site documentation and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.


• Conducting site patrols and identifying potential risks.


• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and coaching of new team members.


• Promoting a positive safety culture and high standard of customer service.

About You

We're looking for someone who is confident, approachable and enjoys leading people.

You'll ideally have:

• Current NSW Security Licence (essential).


• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.


• Previous experience in a Security Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Security Officer role.


• Experience in retail or shopping centre security is highly regarded, but not essential.


• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.


• Experience building positive client and stakeholder relationships.


• Sound computer skills and the ability to complete reports.


• A professional attitude with a strong focus on customer service and safety.


• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
