Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a Security Supervisor to manage one busy Retail/Shopping Centre site in BOORAGOON, WA. The role demands expertise in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and adherence to SOPs.

You will lead a team, coordinate with the regional manager, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence is required.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Security supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience in leading a team is a must.
• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded).
• Reliable transportation (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers
• Overseeing the site-based control room and CCTV system
• Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager
• Assess and mitigate risks on site
• Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events
• Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest
• Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on-duty
• Use communication systems including portable two-way radios
• Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety
• Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs
• Recruit and train new employees

The Role

Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivatedSecurity Supervisorto manage one of our busy Retail/Shopping Centre sites in BOORAGOON, WA

The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures.

Positions available: Full-Time

Potential earnings / Award Level 2 - $29.24 + Allowance + Sign on Bonus

ROSTER: Day

Wednesday and Saturday: 0800-1800

Thursday: 0900-2100

Sunday: 0900-1700

Duties & Responsibilities include:
