Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking reliable Casual Security Officers for positions in the Eastern Suburbs of NSW (Eastgardens). You will maintain a safe environment while delivering high standard customer service. Pay rate is aligned with Security Services Award Level 2.

Shifts include both weekdays and weekends, day and night. As the first point of contact for safety on site, you will patrol, respond to incidents, and uphold site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous security experience (retail security valued).
• Availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekdays and weekends.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety of people, property and assets.
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, emergencies and requests for assistance.
• Identify potential risks and take appropriate action.
• Follow site procedures, security protocols and safety requirements.

Location: Eastern Suburbs - Eastgardens, NSW

Pay rate: Security Services Award Level 2

Shifts available: Weekday and weekend shifts | Day and night shifts

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for safety and security on site. You will provide a professional security presence while supporting clients, staff and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety of people, property and assets
• Providing a professional and approachable security presence
• Responding to incidents, alarms, emergencies and requests for assistance
• Identifying potential risks and taking appropriate action
• Following site procedures, security protocols and safety requirements
• Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous security experience (retail security experience highly regarded)
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekdays and weekends
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
