Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Innaloo, WA is seeking a Security Manager to lead a team of Security Officers at a premium retail site. You will oversee the control room, CCTV, client relationships, and risk mitigation on site.

The role requires a security supervisor/manager background, First Aid/CPR, and strong communication skills. This is a hands-on leadership position with a focus on safety, reliability, and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence is a must.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Security supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a retail environment is highly regarded.
• Reliable transportation is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers and staff.
• Overseeing the site-based control room and CCTV system.
• Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager.
• Assess and mitigate risks on site.
• Respond to calls for assistance and alarm events.
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety.
• Input data on site/client systems as required by SOPs.

The Role

Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivated Security Manager to manage one of our Premium Retail sites at Innaloo, WA

The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures.

Roster:

Monday 0600-1800

Thursday 0600-1630

Friday 0800-1730

Saturday 0800-1600

Sunday 0600-1800

Location: Premium retail site

Award Rate $31.20 + Allowance (6-10)

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers and staff


• Overseeing the site-based control room and CCTV system


• Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager


• Assess and mitigate risks on site


• Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events


• Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest


• Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on-duty


• Use communication systems including portable two-way radios


• Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty


• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety


• Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs


• Recruit and train new employees

Key Selection Criteria:

• Valid Security Licence is a must


• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required


• Security supervisory or management experience preferred


• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)


• Reliable transportation (preferred).
