Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead a team at one of Erina's busiest retail shopping centres in Central Coast, NSW. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers, retailers and staff, and build strong client relationships while maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires a NSW Security Licence, First Aid/CPR, and leadership experience in security.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security Licence (essential).
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Previous experience in a Security Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Security Officer role.
• Experience in retail or shopping centre security is highly regarded, but not essential.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience building positive client and stakeholder relationships.
• Sound computer skills and the ability to complete reports.
• Coordinate rostering to ensure the site is covered and shifts run smoothly
• Sound knowledge of compliance and administrative processes
• A professional attitude with a strong focus on customer service and safety.
• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of 15-20 Security Officers.
• Managing daily security operations and ensuring smooth site coverage.
• Monitoring the Control Room, CCTV and alarm systems.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client and centre management.
• Responding to incidents and coordinating emergency responses.
• Managing reports, site documentation and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conducting site patrols and identifying potential risks.
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and coaching of new team members.
• Promoting a positive safety culture and high standard of customer service.
