Job summary

Grand Group Services in Sydney is seeking a motivated Security Supervisor to lead day-to-day security operations at a premier site. The role requires strong leadership and excellent communication to ensure a safe environment for staff, visitors and tenants.

You will oversee patrols, incident reviews, rostering, training and reporting to Centre Management, while maintaining high service standards and professional conduct in a retail or corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold VIC Security Licence (1AE) minimum.
• 3+ years supervisory security experience.
• First Aid & CPR current.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Retail or corporate environment experience.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate security officers during shifts

Ensure all security operations comply with site-specific SOPs, policies, and legislation

Conduct regular patrols, audits, and incident reviews

Provide professional and customer-focused service at all times

Act as the key point of contact for Centre Management and emergency services

Assist with rostering, training, and performance management of staff

Respond to incidents promptly and prepare accurate, detailed reports

Oversee access control, CCTV monitoring, and alarm systems

Current VIC Security Licence (1AE minimum)

Previous experience in a supervisory security role (3+ years preferred)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Professional appearance and demeanour

Proven ability to lead a team and manage high-pressure situations

First Aid & CPR (current)

Strong understanding of WHS practices and emergency response

High attention to detail and proactive attitude

Experience in retail or corporate environment

Experience with incident reporting systems
