Millennium Services Group in Doncaster, VIC is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead security operations at a premier shopping centre. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, exceptional service, and building strong client relationships in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will manage a team of Security Officers, oversee CCTV and control room operations, and report to the Regional Manager. A valid security licence and industry experience are essential for success.

Formación

• Current and valid Security Licence is essential.
• Current and valid Driver's Licence is essential.
• First Aid and CPR certification current.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Security Supervisor or Security Management role.
• Previous retail/shopping centre security experience is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional presentation and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

Millennium is seeking an experienced and motivated Security Supervisor to lead our security operations at one of our premium shopping centre locations in Doncaster, VIC.

Roster

Day Shift

• Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of Security Officers.
• Oversee daily operations of the site control room and CCTV systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders.
• Report directly to the Regional Manager.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security and operational risks.
• Respond effectively to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Implement appropriate engagement and de-escalation strategies when dealing with persons of interest.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Operate communication equipment, including two-way radios.
• Provide assistance, directions, and customer service to patrons and visitors.
• Promote and maintain workplace health, safety, and compliance standards.
• Complete incident reporting and maintain accurate records in client systems.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop new team members.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current and valid Security Licence (essential).
• Current and valid Driver's Licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Security Supervisor or Security Management role.
• Previous retail or shopping centre security experience (highly desirable).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Professional presentation and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and administrative capabilities.
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and punctuality.
• Reliable transport (preferred).
