Job summary

Elecdata Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a driven Security Sales, Estimating & Account Manager to join our Electronic Security Division. You will drive business growth, identify opportunities, prepare costings, and manage client accounts across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and government sectors.

This is a hands-on role requiring site visits, tender preparation, tailored security solutions, and close collaboration with operations to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in security sales, estimating, or account management within electronic security or construction.
• Ability to scope and cost security solutions accurately.
• Experience preparing cost estimates, take-offs, or tender responses is highly regarded.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to build and manage long-term client accounts and relationships.
• Self-motivated and target-driven attitude.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Security industry experience and/or relevant licensing is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, builders, and facility managers.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for ongoing works, service renewals, and repeat business.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and competitive pricing for security system tenders, quotations, and variations.
• Prepare and present accurate proposals and tailored security solution recommendations to clients and consultants.
• Conduct site visits and security needs assessments to inform accurate scoping and estimating.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales, estimating, and account growth targets.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure accurate estimates and successful project delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales, estimating, and account records within the CRM (Simpro).
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and emerging technologies to keep estimates and proposals competitive.
