Job summary

Infront Group in Brisbane is seeking a casual Security Officer to join the Infront Security Operations Team. The role involves a mix of day and night shifts, supervisory duties, rostering duties and frontline security tasks across various sites.

The successful candidate will be able to multitask, work autonomously and meet WHS requirements, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct random audits of onsite security personnel and correct as needed.
• Respond to complaints and incidents as required.
• Roster staff at short notice using rostering software.
• Respond to incident reports compiled by staff.
• Conduct security site inductions per client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with WHS obligations.
• Provide detailed end-of-shift reports.
• Be familiar with all client SOPs.
• Perform security officer duties on multiple sites.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral member of the Infront Security Operations Team. This is a casual position with a variety of duties. The successful applicant will be required to work a combination of day and night shifts based on operational requirements. This position is comprised of supervisory duties, rostering duties and Security Officer duties, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Main Duties Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Conduct random audits of onsite Security personnel and take corrective action where required
• Respond to any complaints and escape as required
• Roster staff at short notice using a computer based rostering system
• Respond to incident reports compiled by staff
• Conduct Security Site Inductions in accordance with Client requirements
• Ensure compliance with all WHS obligations
• Provide detailed end of shift reports
• Be conversant with all client SOPs
• Perform regular Security Officer duties on various sites

Requirements

You must be able to demonstrate your ability to multi-task and work autonomously. You must be a self-motivated people person, with good problem-solving abilities and supervisory experience.

• A current QLD Security Licence
• A current QLD Drivers Licence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of IR systems and processes
• Great trouble shooting and problems solving skills
• Good honest work ethics
• Staff rostering experience
• Be a people person
• Work well under pressure
• Capable of undertaking the physical patrol and guarding requirements for all sites (e.g. prolonged standing, foot patrol and driving long distances)
