Job summary

EXEC Security is seeking an Operator in Melbourne to provide real-time oversight and coordination across a sophisticated security environment. You will work closely with Risk & Security Specialists, management, external agencies and other stakeholders to ensure security information is assessed, communicated and acted upon appropriately.

The role combines security monitoring, incident management, intelligence, communications and operational coordination.

Qualifications

• Calm, intelligent and dependable operators with strong decision-making under pressure.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team.
• Professional judgement and discretion, with strong incident reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control and other security systems.
• Identify and assess potential security threats and incidents.
• Coordinate responses with field-based security personnel
• Manage operational communications during incidents and emerging situations
• Prepare clear and professional incident reports
• Support protective security and surveillance operations
• Communicate with emergency services and external agencies when required
• Conduct system checks and support operational readiness
• Participate in scenario training and emergency exercises
• Maintain confidentiality across client and operational information
• Opportunities for supervisory or shift leadership for experienced operators
