Job summary

Certis Australia in Brisbane is seeking proactive, customer-focused Events Security Officers to join our casual team at concerts, stadiums and major events. You’ll work flexible evenings, weekends and public holidays, providing professional security and top-tier guest service.

Backstage roles, VIP support, and frontline event presence offer variety, career growth and paid training. If you enjoy fast-paced environments and want weekend adventures, this is the role for you.

Qualifications

• QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control endorsement.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol).
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Previous customer service or security experience (preferred, not essential).

Responsibilities

• Represent Certis professionally at a wide range of events.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring public safety.
• Conduct security patrols, crowd control, and escort duties.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies.
• De-escalate conflict situations calmly and confidently.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and logs.
