Job summary

Certis Australia is recruiting for three casualSecurity Officer roles in Melbourne, covering day and night shifts to provide 24/7 site security. Ideal candidates will manage access, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service in a high-responsibility environment.

Mandatory qualifications include a current Security Licence, First Aid Certificate, MSIC, and a valid driver’s license. CCTV/Access control experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle and pedestrian access in line with site security protocols.
• Control vehicle flow, intercoms, and parking areas for safe operations.
• Induct and log contractors and visitors into the visitor management system.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms and identify vulnerabilities.
• Conduct internal and external patrols to maintain site integrity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches; escalate as needed.
• Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
• Enforce WHS standards and site security procedures; report hazards.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control: Manage vehicle and pedestrian entry, ensuring compliance with site security protocols.
• Traffic & Movement Management: Control vehicle flow, intercoms, and parking areas to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Contractor & Visitor Induction: Ensure all contractors and visitors are inducted and logged into the visitor management system.
• Surveillance & Monitoring: Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, identify vulnerabilities, and maintain perimeter security.
• Patrolling: Conduct internal and external patrols to detect risks and maintain site integrity.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, escalating as needed.
• Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce WHS standards and site security procedures; report hazards immediately.
• Customer Service: Deliver professional, courteous service while upholding security standards.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
