Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking professional, detail-oriented security officers for casual day and night shifts to provide 24/7 site coverage at a high-profile client site in Victoria. You will be the first point of contact for staff, contractors and visitors, manage access control, monitor CCTV and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Ideal candidates hold a current security licence and First Aid certificate, with MSIC or ability to obtain it.

Current First Aid Certificate
MSIC or ability to obtain/maintain one
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional presentation and understanding of corporate security protocols
Current valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Access Control: Manage vehicle and pedestrian entry, ensuring compliance with site security protocols.
Traffic & Movement Management: Control vehicle flow, intercoms, and parking areas to maintain safe, efficient operations.
Contractor & Visitor Induction: Ensure all contractors and visitors are inducted and logged into the visitor management system.
Surveillance & Monitoring: Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, identify vulnerabilities, and maintain perimeter security.
Patrolling: Conduct internal and external patrols to detect risks and maintain site integrity.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, escalating as needed.
Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce WHS standards and site security procedures; report hazards immediately.
Customer Service: Deliver professional, courteous service while upholding security standards.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements

Current Security Licence
