Job summary

Red Piranha is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join a fast-paced, security-focused environment where your role influences critical business operations. You will provide L1/L2 IT support, manage Windows and Linux systems, and deploy new equipment while maintaining documentation and collaborating with the lead IT Administrator.

The position involves patching, system updates, and asset lifecycle activities, with potential travel. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT support role for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 solutions (Office, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID).
• Experience with Windows Server 2012R2-2022 and Active Directory.
• Experience with a wide range of Linux systems.
• Experience with VMware ESXi.
• Strong security focus and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN/VPN and general network troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 IT support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on site and remotely.
• Set up, configure and deploy new IT equipment.
• Perform system maintenance and updates/patching.
• Participate in asset management lifecycle.
• Collaborate with IT System Administrator – Lead to meet standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations.
• Travel may be required.
