Job summary

Talent is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Security Engineer to support and maintain a secure IT environment on a Defence-related project. The role suits someone with a solid background in IT infrastructure, systems administration or cyber security who enjoys working across different technologies.

You will work across Windows, Linux and networking, manage security tools such as Tanium, Trellix and Splunk, and develop technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Solid background in IT infrastructure, systems administration or cyber security.
• Good understanding of Windows, Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of cyber security principles and best practices.
• Exposure to Tanium, Trellix, Splunk and Active Directory is highly regarded.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and security SOPs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple technologies.
• NV2 Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and security applications.
• Administer security tools including Tanium, Trellix and Splunk.
• Work across Windows, Linux, Active Directory and networking environments.
• Monitor and investigate security issues and support remediation activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, security procedures and system security artefacts.
• Work closely with technical teams to maintain and improve the security environment.
