Boathouse Group's Barrenjoey House in Palm Beach is refreshing and launching a new era. We’re recruiting Section Waiters to join from day one and help shape service as the venue opens.

As a Section Waiter you’ll own your section, learn the menu and drinks, take orders confidently, read tables, and collaborate with kitchen, bar and floor teams to deliver memorable guest experiences in a stunning coastal setting.

Qualifications

• Waiting experience preferred.
• RSA certification required (18+).
• Flexible availability including weekends.
• Friendly, energetic and team-focused.

A new chapter for a Palm Beach icon

For generations, Barrenjoey House has been where Palm Beach comes to eat, drink and settle in for the afternoon. Now, one of the Northern Beaches’ best-loved venues is about to be refreshed and reimagined for its next era.

We’re building the team that will bring the new Barrenjoey House to life, and we’re looking for Section Waiters who want to be part of it from day one. This is your chance to help shape the next chapter of a true Palm Beach institution.

The Role

As a Section Waiter, you’ll own your section and make every table feel looked after, from the first hello to the final goodbye. You’ll:

• Welcome guests warmly and set the tone for the new Barrenjoey House experience
• Learn the new menu and drinks list inside out so you can guide guests with confidence
• Take orders accurately and pace each table so service feels effortless
• Read your tables and anticipate what guests need before they ask
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar and floor team to keep service running smoothlyKeep your section clean, set and looking its best throughout service

What We’re Looking For

• Previous waiting experience is preferred, but the right attitude matters just as much
• Excited to be part of a venue launch and help build something new
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Friendly, energetic and team-focused
• Calm and organised when service gets busy
• Reliable, professional and keen to learn
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• RSA required (18+)
