Job summary

Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking an Administrative Officer - Level 6 to support the SDPR rollout across district facilities. You will coordinate device, data and power audits, liaise with managers and contractors, and oversee on-site works to maintain operations during implementation.

You will provide hands-on support, test connectivity, and train staff on new equipment. Prior hospital/medical IT infrastructure experience is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Audit activities in clinical areas performed safely.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to interpret floor plans.
• Experience cataloguing items, quantities and inventories.
• Ability to liaise across locations and staff to plan attendance and access.
• Prior experience working on projects.
• Prior experience supervising contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute technical implementation activities for the SDPR project across sites.
• Liaise with operational managers to plan contractor works in clinical areas.
• Oversee contractors to ensure safety of patients and staff during works.
• Test devices for connectivity and readiness; run SDPR test scripts.
• Provide on-site support and troubleshooting during rollouts.
• Deliver training and orientation to staff on new equipment operations.
