Job summary

Caring Arms Australia is seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee SDA and SIL operations at a new 10-bed facility near Newcastle, ensuring quality care, compliance, and a safe, supportive living environment.

You will lead staff, coordinate participant supports, manage rostering and documentation, drive continuous improvement, and liaise with families and stakeholders to meet participant goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing or coordinating a SIL/SDA home, team or disability support service.
• Strong understanding of NDIS frameworks, Practice Standards and compliance documentation.
• Experience with rostering, workforce management and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of SDA and SIL services and coordinate staff and participant supports.
• Maintain documentation, compliance, and audits to ensure high service quality.
• Coordinate participant intake, onboarding and transitions into SIL.
• Liaise with participants, families and stakeholders to maintain strong communication.
• Lead staff training, orientation and performance reviews.
• Ensure safety, dignity, independence and person-centered support for participants.
