Job summary

Healthscope Independence Services in Penrith, NSW, is seeking a Residential Supervisor to lead a team of disability support workers delivering person-centred supports to residents in SDA apartments. You will report to the SDA Area Manager and ensure high-quality service delivery across our national footprint, with a focus on governance, safety, and client outcomes.

The role includes overseeing daily operations, rostering, client intake, and compliance, while supporting business development

Qualifications

• This role requires a Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or Aged Care, with understanding of SDA, SIL and NDIS frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities are essential.
• Experience supervising disability support workers and coordinating complex operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to Support workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee daily operations, rostering, and ensure quality, safety and compliance.
• Support client-centred practice, including intake, assessments, referrals and admissions.
• Monitor compliance, training, audits, and drive continuous improvement across the service.
• Manage budgets and report on financial and business performance.
• Mentor and develop staff, fostering a positive, values-driven culture.
• Promote safety, risk management, and wellbeing initiatives for staff and clients.
