Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling in Hexham, NSW, is seeking multiple Operators / Pickers to perform yard hand labouring and scrap metal sorting from the conveyor. This permanent day shift runs 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with on-the-job training and clear opportunities for career progression.

You will learn to identify metals, maintain quality by removing contaminants, and stay safe in a fast-paced yard environment. Prior experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is advantageous, and

• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced yard.
• Good teamwork and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Pick and sort scrap metals from conveyor belt
• Remove contaminants to maintain quality
• Monitor conveyor belt speed and functionality
• Notify maintenance or supervisors of issues
• Adhere to workplace safety procedures
