Job summary

Sims Limited is seeking an experienced Operator to join our recycling operations team at our NSW site. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will operate a range of mobile equipment and assist with loading, processing and dispatch of recyclable materials.

This hands-on role suits someone who works outdoors, is safety minded and reliable. Ongoing training and long-term career opportunities are available within a stable ASX-listed company.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence and practical operating experience.
• Experience operating heavy mobile plant and equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other mobile plant safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers and skip bins.
• Sort, grade and process ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Assist with receival, processing and dispatch of recyclable materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Identify and report hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Support general yard operations and site activities as required.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to drivers, suppliers and customers.
