Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling Hexham site is seeking an Operator to load and unload using forklifts, perform manual handling, and keep the yard clean. This permanent day shift runs 7am–3pm, Monday to Friday, with on‑the‑job training and solid opportunities for career progression.

You will hold a forklift licence with experience in scrap recycling or manufacturing being beneficial, and you will work safely in a fast-paced yard environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is essential.
• Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Reliable, punctual and safety focused.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
• Perform manual handling tasks as required.
• Maintain cleanliness in the yard and operational areas.
• Conduct daily checks on mobile plant.
• Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
