Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling in Hexham, NSW, is seeking multiple Operators / Pickers to perform yard hand labouring and scrap metal sorting from the conveyor. This permanent day shift runs 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with on-the-job training and clear opportunities for career progression.

You will learn to identify metals, maintain quality by removing contaminants, and stay safe in a fast-paced yard environment. Prior experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is advantageous, and

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Hexham site, we are seeking multiple Operators / Pickers who will be responsible for general yard hand labouring duties and picking and sorting of scrap metal from the conveyor. This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression/multi skilling.

What you will be doing:

• Pick and sort scrap metals from conveyor belt
• Remove contaminants to maintain the quality of materials
• Monitor the conveyor belt speed and functionality
• Notify maintenance or supervisors of any mechanical issues
• Adhere to workplace safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
